When he lived, Bobby Blaine was a vicious thug, an enforcer for some of the less savory club promoters in L.A. It was during his breathing days that he crossed Victor Temple in some way. The Ventrue doesn’t even remember whatever sparked this resentment, but Blaine did, and when he found himself compromised by agents of the Second Inquisition he took the opportunity to add Victor to the list of vampires he would betray to the government hunters.
Thinking the hunters could protect him, he began harassing the coterie, escalating the conflict until they had no choice but to treat Bobby as a serious threat. The coterie wiped out Bobby’s gang of vampires and ghouls in a series of confrontations, and then sent their leader to the Final Death at The Succubus Club.
