Plot Synopsis[]
Part One[]
Two nights after the events at the dinnerparty under Hollywood Forever, Victor, Nelli and Jasper head towards the Camarilla Elysium. They meet Maximilian Strauss who introduces himself as Keeper of the Elysium. Nelli breaks of from the group to talk to some Toreador, and is quickly approached by Prince Vannevar and Suzanne, his Seneschal. Jasper and Victor approach the group and introduce themselves. Jasper and Vannevar discuss the position of Sheriff, and Jasper questions what the position involves. Vannevar and Victor discuss their differences and the Second Inquisition. Vannevar extends his ring to Victor but he ignores it, in turn drawing the attention of everyone in the room.
Nelli spots Chaz in the corner of the room and her reaction is noted by Suzanne. She uses telepathy to read Nelli's surface thoughs and catch flashes of an oppressive and abusive Chaz haunting Nellies thougts. She invites Nelli for a walk in the garden.
The discussion continues and the point of Victor's use of technology and cell phones comes up. Vannevar blames technology for the attention of the Inquisition. Victor tells him the cell phone is negotiable. Vannevar the extend his hand and proclaims "the cell phone is mine". Victor takes out his phone and snaps it in two. Relucatantly he hands Vannavar the pieces, saying he does not wish to offend. Vannavar extends his ring to Victor again this time using Dominate to make him kiss his ring. Victor does not fight the compulsion and kisses it, afterwards not knowing he has been dominated.
In the garden Suzanne talks to Nelli and gives her a beautiful piece of jewlery that is well over 200 years old. Apparently a gift she received from Mithras the Prince of London before the fall. She asks Nelli to be her "lady in waiting", a second in command, a partner to aid in the fight for powerful women. Suzanne uses her emotional control to make Nelli fall instantly in love with her. She asks Nelli to be hers and Nelli, unable to resist, agrees and kisses her. Suzanne use Awe and asks Nelli to live with her. Nelli tries to use Lingering Kiss to make Suzanne love her as well. Suzanne attempts to make Nelli renounce the Anarchs and join the Camarilla. Nelli refuses to join anything where Chaz is involved.
Their dealings with the prince concluded, Jasper and Victor find Nelli and say it is time to go. Nelli does not want to leave, and Suzanne says she will stay. They are interupted by Strauss who says the prince has expressed that he wants his guests to leave. Suzanne is upset but lets Nelli go.
Part Two[]
Annabelle and Nines travel to South LA to meet the Valkyries and try to get them to side with the Anarchs and against the Camarilla. Outside Loki’s Motorbike Repair shop, they meet Kasey and Sycorax, who are not as welcoming as they had hoped. Both Valkyries oppose the idea of control by the Camarilla and the supposed freedom and alliances the Anarchs offer, citing that it is just another system that is broken and ultimately won’t fix anything or help out communities like theirs.
The Valkyries, to test Annabelle and Nines’ commitment to bettering life for them and their area, ask them to deal with a Kindred called Rags that preys on orphanages and uses children to traffic drugs. After discussions of freedoms, corrupt systems and alliances, Annabelle and Nines agree to deal with Rags.
Ramona texts, confirming that she doesn’t have eyes on them, asking for a location that Annabelle gives. After the Anarchs talk outside with Nines questioning and encouraging Annabelle to understand not her position and opinions in getting the Valkyries to side with them. Ramona joins as a large owl and is recognised by Sycorax as a fellow Gangrel before an agreement is reached to deal with Rags tonight.
The Valkyries, Annabelle, Nines and Ramona, as an owl, travel to where Rags is located before Nines lets Annabelle know he is stepping back a bit to let her handle this situation. Once he has walked-off Ramona joins, no longer as an owl, and goes to infiltrate Rag’s haven. Outside Kasey and Sycorax meet two of Rag’s associates carrying a cooler of blood whom they dispatch of. The sound of the fight alerts those inside as Annabelle and Ramona confront Rags and his human companion. Anabelle uses Spark of Rage to get Rags to kill him before he begs not to meet the final death, to which she only agrees after making him blood bond with Ramona.
Afterwards the group all meet and the Valkyries are not happy that Annabelle lets Rags live, believing he will just start doing the same thing again tomorrow. Anabelle assures them that while she didn’t agree to kill him, he will not get a chance to as Ramona makes Rags roll over and prove she has control of him. Eventually, the Valkyries agree to the conditions, and a tentative alliance is formed in exchange for Ramon sticking around so the Valkyries can keep an eye on Rags.

Chloe Hudson is writing a letter before Fiona comes in to check in with her about her reach project and encourage her to eat, which Zoe tries to dissuade before Fiona encourages her. We get confirmation that she has become Fiona’s ghoul after her research into Jasper, and Fiona assures her that she will not keep her in the dark as Jasper did. Chloe confronts the fact that she agrees with Fiona, though she is not fully sure if it is her or the blood talking, to which Fiona slightly rebuff stating she encourages agreement but doesn’t control as to not “dull that mind of [her’s] especially now it works for [Fiona].” She shuts down the idea of Chloe seeing Jasper in the immediate, assuring her long-term goals are more practical.
